A Computational Approach to Dynamical Love Model: The Romeo and Juliet Scenario
نویسنده
چکیده
This research paper examines the dynamical model of love as in the case of Romeo and Juliet. The model is in the form of Coupled Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE) describing the time-dependent variation of the love and hate displayed by individuals in a relationship. An additional work is done by applying a new numerical integrator developed by Odekunle and Sunday (2012) to a special case of this model. The result obtained shows that the integrator is efficient, ingenious and computationally reliable.

Scenario-based modeling for multiple allocation hub location problem under disruption risk: multiple cuts Benders decomposition approach
The hub location problem arises in a variety of domains such as transportation and telecommunication systems. In many real-world situations, hub facilities are subject to disruption. This paper deals with the multiple allocation hub location problem in the presence of facilities failure. To model the problem, a two-stage stochastic formulation is developed. In the proposed model, the number of ...
متن کاملOn a model of Love dynamics: A Neutrosophic analysis
This study is an application of neutrosophy to the dynamics of love, the most interesting social phenomena. The love dynamics were studied earlier by Strogatz (Strogatz, 1994), Radzicki (Radzicki, 1993), Rapport (Rapport, 1960), etc. Although Strogatz’s model (Strogatz, 1994) was originally intended only to motivate students, it makes several interesting and plausible predictions, and suggests ...
متن کاملRomeo and Juliets: a Modern Workplace Tragedy
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet starts out as a classic love story: boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, boy and girl get married. Of course, it turns into a tragedy when they realize that their relationship is destined to fail. Surprisingly, many offices in corporate America follow a similar-though less morbid--trend. A 2005 survey revealed that 58% of employees had dated someone at wor...
متن کاملThe 'pre-history' of Beatrice and Benedick in Much Ado about Nothing
In Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare implies in a fascinating way that before the main action of the play there was what I shall call a 'pre-history', namely a story of an earlier involvement between Benedick and Beatrice. It is this `prehistory' which I wish to examine and clarify here, as I think that it is usually overlooked, or at least not adequately understood. The implied scenario logi...
متن کاملExtension Ability of Reduced Order Model of Unsteady Incompressible Flows Using a Combination of POD and Fourier Modes
In this article, an improved reduced order modelling approach, based on the proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) method, is presented. After projecting the governing equations of flow dynamics along the POD modes, a dynamical system was obtained. Normally, the classical reduced order models do not predict accurate time variations of flow variables due to some reasons. The response of the dynam...
